Last week’s SourFest blew our mind and rocked our tastebuds.  What a glorious day of mouth-puckering action.  Big shout out to the team at Avery Brewing, who once again knocked it out of the park this year.

It’s almost Father’s Day.  Hope you’ve gotten something for dear old Dad that he can actually use.  You know, like, maybe…  BEER!!!  Dad loves Beer.  Just sayin’.

Black Shirt Brewing is cooking up some new stuff for y’all.  They’ve been working on a project to bring local bands into the brewery to play acoustic sets in a live, intimate setting.  The series, which is called “Now Playing” will be filmed and used to promote local bands and businesses.  More details as we get ’em, but here’s the first video.

Prost Brewing will release their new Kolsch on Thursday.  Head Brewer Bill Eye says the Kolsch is “delicate and pale with less bitterness than a Pils and less sweetness than a Helles.  A subtle fruitiness is the hallmark of this classic style from Koln.  Along with the Alt, this is one of the last ale holdouts in Germany.”

This 4.6% ABV, 22 IBU brew is the perfect answer to the Summer heat.  Head over and enjoy one in the Prost Bier Garden or inside in the cool a/c.  Your choice.  Prost Brewing is located at: 2540 19th St, Denver, CO 80211.

Yak & Yeti’s still pouring their Chocolate Frosting Stout and they just tapped their Victorian Sunrise Wheat, which is a German-style Hefeweizen.  Plenty of other goodies are pouring too.
