Sunday, January 17th, 2016

Black Project’s got two new bottles to release on Sunday. Peach Rye Dreamland and Mach-Limit Tempranillo will debut at the brewery beginning at Noon. Peach Rye Dreamland is their Dreamland Golden Sour Ale with Peaches, aged in a Laws Secale Rye Barrel. “Great peach, funk, oak, tartness, and a noticeable rye whiskey character. All parts are about equal in presence, no one component (fruit, base, oak, spirit) overwhelms the others. Very balanced and delicious.” 375 mL cork & cage bottles will be available for $12 each.

Mach-Limit Tempranillo is the debut of Black Project’s new heavily-fruited sour series. This one was made in collaboration with Red Fox Cellars & Vineyards from Palisade, CO, who supplied the Temrpanillo grape must. “Bold, earthy, black cherry, currant, and herbal notes from the grape combines with the beer which has a dry tartness, wild yeast “funk” and stone fruit from our house coolship microbes. Super interesting to drink. A little like the wine, a little like the beer. The two parts end up tasting like a super complex, funky, sangria – in the best possible way.” Mach-Limit will be available in 750 mL cork & cage bottles for $28 each.
