Monday, October 3rd, 2016

First Draft collaborated with Stone Brewing for Stone Mixtape Ale Vol. 15 – Brett the Rockies. This is a Brett-fermented foudre blended with Ruination 2.0 and cannibis oil. They’ll also tap Stone Barrel-Aged Brown Ale with Balaton Sour Cherries and Stone Cali-Belgique aged in Tequila Barrels. First Draft is located at: 1309 26th St, Denver, CO.

Great Divide will be at Avanti F&B on Monday night to kick off GABF Week. Look for a monster lineup that will include 2014 Oak Aged Yeti, The Smoothness, Gose and more. Avanti F&B is located at: 3200 Pecos St, Denver, CO.

Beers Made By Walking returns to Denver for GABF Week. The event invites brewers to create beers inspired by nature and ingredients found on trails. This years tasting will feature 30+ breweries, including Black Project, Great Divide, Dry Dock, Odd13, Odell, Paradox, Ratio, TRVE and more. Snag your tickets HERE. The 5th installment of What The Funk!? is set for Tuesday. No words for this one. Look, if you like your beers funky, barrel-aged, sour, wild, or anywhere in-between, this is your event. The invitational fest will feature some of the best beers in town for GABF week.

Wednesday, October 5th, 2016

Head to Hops & Pie on Wednesday for a whole slew of beers from the portfolio of Crooked Stave Artians. Participating breweries include Beachwood Brewing, Creature Comforts, Melvin, Boneyard, Stillwater, Half Acre, Jester King, Lawson’s and many more. WeldWerks will release Barrel Aged Mexican Achromatic on Wednesday. This is their Imperial Stout with cacao nibs, cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, aged in Breckenridge Bourbon Barrels.

The Oskar Blues Ordeal is back for another year of GABF fun. Kick things off on Wednesday at the Pig Roast. Head to the Hops & Heifer’s Farm for an all-you-can-eat pig roast, plenty of Oskar Blues brews, live music, a tour of the farm and plenty o’ fun. Tickets start at $30 and are available right HERE.

Tivoli will kick off their GABF Week shenanigans on Wednesday night. Come on by for a brewery tour, see what’s on tap, grab a bite and hold on for the wild week ahead. Tickets are $35, which includes unlimited beer tastings. Tivoli Brewing is located at: 900 Auraria Pkwy, Denver, CO.

The Crafty Fox will host Horse and Dragon Brewery for some fun food and beer pairings. They’ll have all sorts of beers to share, from a Rum Barrel-Aged Coconut Porter to a Fresh Hop Pale Ale. Each beer will be thoughtfully paired with food made from spent grain, hops, wort and yeast. The Crafty Fox is located at: 3901 Fox St, Denver, CO.

The Mercantile will host an incredible beer dinner on Wednesday night. Featuring 6 breweries and 8 chefs, this “State of the Union” beer dinner will be one for the books. Breweries include Crooked Stave, Side Project, Jester King, The Bruery, Alesong and Call to Arms. Reservations are $150 in advance, $175 at the door. Details HERE. Offensively Delicious, the annual celebration of comedians and craft beer is a great way to kick back and enjoy GABF week. This year 10 breweries and 4 comedians have signed on for the event. Breweries include Brooklyn, New Holland, Liquid Mechanics and more, along with headlining comedians Beth Stelling and Matt Braunger. Tickets start at $30. Avery Brewing will host The Brett Pack for a special 5-course beer dinner on Wednesday. Avery, Dogfish Head, Russian River, The Lost Abbey, and Allagash and their owners will each offer up several beers for this special event.
