Former Future Brewing Company will always hold a special place in our hearts, the boxes of old merchandise – not so much.

So, we are getting rid of all of it, for FREE. Come down to Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales and buy a pint and we will let you pick from a random assortment of shirts, growlers, hats and other merchandise* that is taking up space at the brewery.

Cheers to FFBC!

*Merch is not available online or by phone, you must come into the brewery and purchase a 10oz beer to receive any merchandise.

crooked stave salvador cybies

Join us for the release of Salvador Cybies – Harvest 2016!

Salvador Cybies is a Belgian Style Dark Sour Ale Aged in Oak Barrels with Colorado Cherries.

Primary fermented in oak foeders with our mixed culture of wild yeast and bacteria, Salvador Cybies has an unmistakable Belgian character backed by a strong malt base. For our Harvest 2016 release, we’ve embraced age-old tradition by conditioning the beer for extended periods of time in oak barrels before a heavy-handed addition of local cherries from our partner farmers on the Colorado western slope.

Salvador Cybies will be available on draught and in 750ml cork & cage bottles starting at 5 PM! Grab your Salvador Cybies- Harvest 2016 before we sell out!

This is our Mothers Day beer – something for Moms to enjoy and that transports them to a place of relaxation and salvation – the garden. This beer is made with fresh beets and garnished with edible Nasturtium flowers grown and harvested at The GrowHaus – a very special place in our community.

Traditionally, Mothers Day in Denver signals the last frost, and therefore the time of the year that we start to really plant veggies and flowers in the garden. In this vein, we wanted to create something that tasted like the garden – in a very pleasant way!

The beer is chocolatey, creamy, rounded, delicately earthy, and tastes pleasantly of the garden. The beet character is nuanced but noticeable and the Nasturtium flowers are spicy and crisp! This is a beer unlike any other.

Black Shirt Brewing is located at: 3719 Walnut St, Denver, CO.

Beer, live music from Meadow Mountain, donuts from Glazed and Confuzed Doughnuts, and barbecue from Turn-In BBQ! Free admission.

Note: we have plenty of bike parking so ride your bikes (and don’t forget your helmets)!
