All Weekend

We’re turning 20 this June and are celebrating in the best possible way: Great Food, Great Friends, and GREAT BEER!! If you were here for our 10th Anniversary you’ll recognize the idea: Chris has been busy brewing beers with some of our favorite breweries and old friends to customize the special tappings. We’re going ten days straight again, with several days tapping both a beer brewed in Colorado and one from elsewhere in the US.

We’re kicking the festivities off with a Dual Tapping on Friday, June 2 at 5:30pm: reprising their role from TEN years ago, Dry Dock Brewing will be sailing in with Chris’ homage to Mr. Hoppy, the beer he planned on tapping to kick off the 10th Anniversary. We are also thrilled to welcome our friends from San Diego as we tap into the Alpine/Green Flash/Cellar 3 brew – We Were Here First! This was the first of the anniversary beers Chris brewed, a big, amazing and truly unique collaboration.

Throughout the remaining nine days we will also be tapping into beers brewed with:

Epic
Ecliptic
 Upslope
Sierra Nevada
Great Divide
Comrade
Odell
 Spangalang
New Belgium
Crooked Stave
And more to be announced!!!

Our last day of the celebration, Sunday June 11th, will feature a very special tapping of an extremely limited beer Chris brewed at Bristol Brewing in Colorado Springs.

All Weekday Brews will tap at 5:30pm, with Weekend Brews tapping at 2pm. As the beers arrive in town/at the bar and travel plans are confirmed we will finalize the schedule of events and announce which Brewery will be tapped on which day. Of course Twitter and Facebook will have continual updates as well, but we will update events here on the website each day as well.

One of the absolute best things about this celebration is spending time with the PEOPLE! Brewers, Owners, Brewery Representatives, fellow Publicans, Regulars who are a massive reason we are here, friends from around the country and around the World are coming in to celebrate with us. We can’t thank you enough for all of the love and support you have provided over the last two decades. We can’t wait to see you, raise a pint and share some stories!!

June – a time for camping, hiking, fishing and all things Colorado. But let’s not forget the most Colorado activity of them all: drinking hoppy beers!

With that in mind, we’re incredibly proud to announce our inaugural ‘Hops for Humanity’ event, a month-long dedication to hoppy beers and experimentation with proceeds going to benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Throughout the course of June we plan to tap 10 new and classic throwback hop-forward offerings. In addition to fresh batches of Clintonian Pale Ale and our CTA IPA you can look forward to…
– n.IPL India Pale Lager
 – Hopped-up Khores Ballroom Beer (featuring Galaxy hops)
 – Bellodrama (IPA) India Pale Kolsch
 – Lobsterback Bi-Coastal IPA
– Our first EVER Triple IPA
– Our first EVER lupulin powder brew
Be on the lookout throughout May and June for more details pertaining to the aforementioned beers along with small-batch, one-off kegs of hoppy libations!

Additionally, our June Rumpus will be entitled ‘Humulus Rumpulus’ and take place on June 17th! If you have any questions about that name, just check this out…http://bit.ly/2oY6PUc

Proceeds from the entire month will go to benefit Habitat for Humanity. More info to come!

Join us for the release of L’Brett d’Blueberry – Harvest 2016!

L’Brett d’Blueberry is a Golden Sour Ale Aged in Oak Barrels with Washington Blueberries.

We uphold the time-honored traditions used to make spontaneous Belgian lambic through embracing natural fermentation with the microflora native to our brewery. For our Harvest 2016 release, we’ve selected unique barrels to balance the heavy-handed addition of Washington blueberries, expressing the Pacific Northwest terroir from which our fruit is sourced, and a quality that reflects the skilled stewardship of our partner farmers.

L’Brett d’Blueberry will be available on draught and in 750ml cork & cage bottles June 2nd and the party starts at 5 PM! Grab your L’Brett d’Blueberry- Harvest 2016 before we sell out!

Crooked Stave is located at: 3350 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO.

We are partnering with Corvus Coffee on a new series of rotating coffee sour beers.

On Friday, we are releasing GEMINI: Boloya, a golden sour beer made with Ethiopian coffee beans from Boloya, a small mill in Kochere. Boloya has notes of lemon and black tea in the aroma and contributes blackberry and dried cherry in the flavor.

By partnering with Corvus, we’re able to showcase unique coffee beans from across the world that are being produced by small farms in select regions. Each new beer release in the GEMINI series will highlight the unique flavors and aromas of each coffee roast, something that Corvus Coffee specializes in with their Single Origin coffees. Since all the roasts are from a single origin, each beer will be as unique as the beans.

GEMINI is named after “Project Gemini”, NASA’s second spaceflight program. The aircraft carried two astronauts around Earth’s orbit in the early 1960s, furthering our understanding of space and developing the techniques necessary to land on the moon. It was also responsible for pioneering orbital maneuvers necessary for working in space.

GEMINI is our second coffee sour beer, after LUNEX. It will also be the next step in our evolution of coffee sour beers. Through continuous innovation in research and development, we hope to pioneer spontaneously fermented beer into unknown territory, leading to new discoveries; the same way discoveries from Project Gemini made it possible for us to land on the moon.

Black Project is located at: 1290 S Broadway, Denver, CO.

Join us on Friday June 2nd at 5:30pm for a special tapping of Odell Brewing Co latest cellar series beer Brazzle. A sour golden raspberry ale aged in oak barrels with wild yeasts and 300 pounds of golden raspberries.

Ursula Brewery’s Third Anniversary Party aka: Back To Your Regulary Scheduled Anniversary

After last years Re-Brandaversary we’re back to our regularly scheduled anniversary. A year after our Re-brandaversary and over a year under our belts as Ursula… we think we’ll stick with it.

This year we have some fun things happening:

Number One – We’re opening up an hour early at 11:00 am to release this years anniversary beer Angel Of the Odd. Angel of the Odd has seen the light of day a couple times already. Dave had pulled and carbonated 1 keg of this beer last year to see how it was coming along. That keg was taken to a couple festivals including Ed Fest last year. Well Dave decided the beer wasn’t exactly ready despite everyone’s pleadings for bottles. Here we are 10 months later and he’s finally decided the beer is ready. Bottle conditioned for over 8 weeks these bottles are ready to go and we’re looking forward to getting them into your hands (AND FINALLY OUT FROM BEHIND THE BAR!).

Angel of the Odd: (bottle count – 348)
 750ml bottles – $18 (Limit 3 bottles per person)
 Draft 10oz – $10
 Tasters 4oz – $4

Angel of the Odd w/Cherries: (bottle count – 360)
 750ml bottles – $18 (Limit 3 bottles per person)
 Draft 10oz – $10
 Tasters 4oz – $4

Letter B – We’re doing a Pig Roast! We were finally were able to coordinate with the farmer we give our grain to and we’re getting a pig that fed on our beers leftover grain. We love the cyclical nature of feeding you guys the pig that ate our “beer”. We’re partnering with Jeff Gebott of Southern Hospitality downtown Denver to roast this thing and we can not wait to see what he does with this whole pig we’re buying for him.

More details about how we’re pricing the food as Chef Jeff develops his master plan.

Lastly – As usual live music off and on all day, extra outdoor seating and games, vintage beer tappings and more!
